KDHE, FDA And CDC Warn Consumers Not To Use Diamond Shruumz Products
TOPEKA – The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) is warning Kansans not to consume Diamond Shruumz products. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced it is recalling Diamond Shruumz-brand products and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is investigating 58 reports of severe illness, including 30 hospitalizations and one potentially associated death, across multiple states from the Prophet Premium Blends, LLC of Santa Ana, CA facility. No one is immune to migraine headaches, including children. According to the American Migraine Foundation, approximately 10 percent of children experience migraines. Children may be more likely to experience migraines if a parent or both parents get them. The AMF notes that children with one parent who suffers from migraines have a 50 percent chance of getting them as well, and that increases to 75 percent among children who have two parents that experience migraines.
