Eureka Man Killed In Semi Rollover

A Eureka man died on Friday, April 18, after the semi he was driving was involved in a rollover accident.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Curk Bradley Creed, 64, of Eureka was traveling southbound on K99 Highway, approximately 2 miles north of Severy, when he went off the right side of the road. Creed over corrected back onto the highway and the truck tipped onto its side, coming to rest in the ditch.

He was pronounced deceased at the scene. The accident occurred shortly before 9 a.m.

Creed was driving a 2006 International Concrete Truck. He was wearing his seatbelt.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 24. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the family to help with expenses. Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home, PO Box 595, Eureka, KS 67045, which is overseeing arrangements.

Donations can also be sent to the family, in care of The Eureka Herald, 822 E. River St., Ste 100, PO Box 590, Eureka, KS 67045. Checks should be made payable to Susan Creed.
