Eureka’s Mason Hughes placed 4th at the Eureka Golf Invitational on Wednesday, April 16.
He shot an 89 (43/46) on the 18-hole course and tied for second place. He placed 4th on the scorecard playoff.
Also representing Eureka were Easton Mead, 106 (52/54); John Noll, 118 (61/57); Tyson Coon, 121 (63/58) and Jonah Werner, 133 (66/67).
El Dorado’s Zekiah Kern won top honors with an 87 (44/43), helping the Wildcats win first place as a team. El Dorado had a team score of 359. Erie was second with 380 and Sedan was third with 398. The top 10 individual medalists ranged in score from 87-97.
