The Eureka High School boys finished their regular season with a 33-57 loss at Olpe on Tuesday, Feb. 20. The Tornadoes experienced shooting woes that hadn’t plagued them recently but, especially in the first half, led to the lopsided loss. Madison Bulldog Basketball Advances To Semifinals
The Madison Bulldogs basketball teams began their sub-state tournament with wins last week, as both the girls and boys defeated Yates Center. The boys (#3, 9-10) defeated the Wildcats 5817 last Thursday and advance to semifinal action against Colony-Crest #2, 10-9 on Thursday, Feb. 29, TBD. The girls (#3, 14-5) defeated Yates Center 62-21 last Friday and will face the Eagles of Olpe (#2, 15-4) on Friday, March 1, at 6 p.m. Both semifinal games will be held at Rosalia- Flinthills. The winners will advance to the championship round on Saturday, March 2, at Rosalia. The boys championship game will be held at 5 p.m., with the girls championship game following at 6:30 p.m. 02/27/2024 11:00 PM
