The four Greenwood County libraries – Fall River, Hamilton, Madison and Eureka – are hosting a bookmark contest during the month of July. Greenwood County residents are invited to design a bookmark representing things they love about Greenwood County and/or its libraries. The Greenwood County Commissioners will judge the artwork in four different age categories: 0-5 years old, 6-12 years old, 13-18 years old and 19 years old and above. The winning designs will then be reproduced and distributed through the four libraries. Entry forms are available at any Greenwood County library and should be turned in by July 31. This event is one of the “Greenwood County Libraries – Discover Your Next Chapter” collaborative projects and is made possible by a Dream Grant from the Southeast Kansas Library System.
