Tornado Football Picked Up Convincing Win Over Erie
Traveling for the first time since week 3 of the 2019 season, the Eureka Tornadoes made the long haul to Erie to take on the Red Devils last Friday night. The Tornadoes came away with a convincing 34-7 win.
Both teams were hampered by the muddy field conditions, but Erie’s offense also had to deal with a tough Tornado defense which took advantage of two fumbles (one for a defensive touchdown), one interception for a touchdown, and sacked the quarterback four times. Overall, the Tornado defense held Erie to 124 yards rushing on 40 carries and only 52 yards passing.
