Eureka Lady Tornadoes Move To 4-1

The Eureka Lady Tornadoes traveled to Fredonia to open up the 2021 new year with a game versus the Yellowjackets on Friday, January 8. The game was Eureka’s first since the Christmas break. However, the Lady Tornadoes didn’t skip a beat and defeated the Yellowjackets handily, winning 46-18.

Eureka came out firing the first possession of the game. Senior Chazni Ptacek drained a three, and junior Brooklyn Ptacek laid two buckets in from the paint to get out to a quick 7-0 lead. The Lady Tornadoes used pressure defense paired with another two trey balls from C. Ptacek, and exceptional distribution of the ball from London Hilton to boost their lead to 20-2 after the first eight minutes of play.
