Letter(s) To The Editor

Did you know, that in Eureka KS, you have no rights or laws to support you being vandalized on your property? Trespass and destroying yards is not a crime, here in Eureka.

In fact, according to our local Sheriff Department, a person can drive through your property at any time, without penalty or even a harsh word. Even if, they have been asked and told not to, in the past.

They may also drag debris such as, large 100lb stones, and dump them in your yard. Furthermore, they can slander and use disparaging words against you, your family, and your heritage.

A driver, leaving tracks and ruts in your yard, is not subject to so much as a harsh word and they may insult you the entire time you are being violated. Officers standing by will do nothing to control or stop them.
