A Season Lost

Senior graduates across the nation are missing out on many things. From their favorite spring sports to the State Forensics competition, graduating seniors are simply going through the motions as their graduation day nears.

Seniors Kade and Keeley Coon are no different. The twins were looking forward to their final music concert at EHS, competing in forensics and of course walking across the stage on May 17 to receive their diplomas. The siblings still get the chance to move their tassels after they receive their diploma next Sunday; but, it will not be the traditional event they had planned.

“I was heartbroken. Not only for the rest of my senior year, but for the class of 2020,” stated Keeley. “Our class has worked hard over the years and it just feels like all of that work was for nothing,” she continued.
