ROGER MOSS

D Roger Moss of Eureka, died on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Greenwood County Hospital, in Eureka, at the age of 83.

He was born on June 28, 1938, in Greenwood County, the son of Harold Lawrence and Evelyn D. (Denchfield) Moss. He attended country schools and later graduated from Eureka High School with the Class of 1957. Roger farmed and ranched and raised cattle with his father and later on his own. He lived in Eureka all his life.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and currently attended the Eureka Community Church.

He is survived by one cousin, Pam Cowley of Eureka; and close friends, Peggy and Terry Erie of Eureka. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Immediate burial was made at Greenwood Cemetery, in Eureka on Thursday, February 10, 2022. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Greenwood County Hospital Foundation.
