REX ALAN STEWART

Rex Alan Stewart, 73, of Olathe, passed away on August 21, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born on December 2, 1947 to Boyd and Maxine (Sherifus) Stewart at Wichita, KS.

Rex started a career building silos and later moved on to construction sales for 20+ years with Coleman Equipment until his retirement ranching.

He was a basketball coach and founder of GGBC and Kansas Elite basketball clubs, and he enjoyed sports, ranching, flying his drone, cars and cracking jokes every chance he got.

Rex is survived by his loving daughters, Lori, Sarah, and Jessica, and grand-children Adilyn, Braelyn, and Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Patti Mishoe.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 27 at 10:30 a.m. at Penwell-Gabel Olathe Chapel, with visitation offered at 9:30 a.m. Burial in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Stanley, KS.
