JEANNIE CARTER

Jeannie Carter, (Geneva May Shepherd), 77, died July 28, 2021, at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.

She was born on April 8, 1944, in Arkansas.

She was a member of the Eureka and Fredonia Seventh-day Adventist Churches.

She drove a truck with her husband in many different states. She lived in various locations in Arkansas, California, and in Eureka, before moving to Fredonia.

She is survived by two brothers, William and John Shepherd from Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Carter and her daughter Lisa Irene Carter.

A memorial service will be held August 14, at 4 p.m. in the Eureka Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Burial arrangements are being handled by Koup Family Funeral Home in Eureka, where she will be buried next to her daughter.
