JANICE MILNER

Janice Kay Milner of rural Hamilton, died on Monday, December 27, 2021, at Pawhuska Hospital, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, at the age of 70.

She was born on March 21, 1951, in Neal, Kansas, the daughter of Charles William and Iva Delores (Mollett) McCoy. She was raised in Neal and Quincy and graduated from Hamilton High School with the Class of 1969. On August 16, 1969, Janice was united in marriage to Victor Allen Milner in Mayfield, Kentucky. They made their home in Hamilton. To this union, two children were born. Later they moved to western Kansas where they lived for 35 years. They returned to Hamilton in the mid-2010s.

She is survived by her husband, Vic of the home; children, Larry and wife, Chandra Milner of Meade, Kansas; and Monty and wife, Jennifer Milner of Shallow Water, Kansas; six grandchildren; and three siblings: Charles “Sonny” and wife, Laura McCoy of Neal; Roy and wife, Cindy McCoy of Neal; and Cecil and wife, Carlyn McCoy of Stigler, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings: Floyd McCoy, Raymond McCoy, Dorothy Poe, and Bill McCoy.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, January 3, 2022, at Janesville Cemetery, Hamilton with Pastor Dave Siler of the Virgil United Methodist Church officiating. Visitation hours are set from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Greenwood County Hospital Auxiliary.
