DALANNA C. BORGEN

Age 64 Of El Dorado

Dalanna’s life began on October 9, 1958 in Eureka, the daughter of Fred E.Gee (Cassie Nicolay) and Norma F. (Gulick) (John Spurlock) Spurlock. Dalanna had the biggest heart and had a deep passion for caring for people.

She followed that passion to Lakepoint Nursing Home in El Dorado where she served as a Head Cook in the evenings. She was proud to care for the residents of Lakepoint and provide quality meals. She will always be known for being an exceptional cook and extremely talented in the kitchen. Dalanna was a successful business owner as well. Dalanna enjoyed watching the Kansas City Chiefs. Dalanna enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and spoiling her dogs. She had a kind heart and a giving spirit.

Her family includes her daughter Chandra (Casey Entwisle) Hubbard of Bel Aire; daughter-in-law Catie Buckle; grandchildren, Kobe Buckle, Corey Hubbard, Braylee Buckle, Zoey Buckle, Annabel Entwisle and Lilian Entwisle; sisters Vanessa J. Gee of Park City, and Francel K. Gee of El Dorado; 12 nieces and nephews; 23 great-nieces and great-nephews. Dalanna passed away on February 5, 2023 in El Dorado.

She is preceded in death by her son, Jeremy Buckle; nephew Aron Bower; siblings, Dareeca A. Miller, Dewndella J. Winn, Clifton L. Gee and step-sister, Mary Ann Lane; her parents and step-parents.

Memorial services were held on Thursday, February 16, at 11 a.m. at Carlson Colonial Funeral Home. Burial took place at Greenwood Cemetery in Eureka following the memorial service. Memorial contribution in Dalanna’s name may be directed to Chasing Tails Rescue or to Beauties & Beasts.
