There are two football fields that I have frequented over the years that are named for men, former coaches, who were my friends. Fr. William A. Hamill (Cascia Hall) and Angelo Prassa (Bishop Kelley).

At the age of 17, Nolan Denton developed ARES, a natural caffeine gummy. Denton, who is currently in the spring semester of his senior year at West Elk High School, developed the caffeine gummies to boost energy and focus. “Whether you are a student, a professional, a tired parent, a gamer, an entrepreneur, or an athlete, ARES can help you face the challenges and opportunities that life presents you with,” read a release composed by the company. Denton, who started the business as a sophomore, began the business to “support my family and make my parents proud.” Although he didn’t always want to be an entrepreneur, Denton realized a couple of years ago that he wanted to be his own boss, thus allowing him to know his “efforts were going to a good cause.”
