A total of 10 accident reports were taken between Friday, November 24 and Monday morning keeping law enforcement busy over the holiday weekend. Five vehicle/deer accidents alone were reported last Friday, before the snow began to fall. Larry Paul Lawrence of Eureka, died on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at Greenwood County Hospital, in Eureka, at the age of 81. He was born on July 10, 1942, in Toronto, the son of Paul Henry and Gertrude Lucille (Ward) Lawrence. He was raised around Greenwood County, graduating from Tonovay High School. Since then, I’ve traveled to desperate places of poverty and starvation in the world providing hunger relief and development.
