Construction To Begin At New Severy Water Plant
Following multiple delays, crews were to break ground on the construction of the new city water plant in Severy on Monday of this week. During their most recent council meeting, Mike Younger, project engineer with Evans, Bierly and Hutchison Associates, brought the council up to date on the water plant project. Royalty To Be Crowned After Friday Night Football Game
The West Elk Patriots will kick off the 2023 Fall Homecoming celebration with a bonfire in the south parking lot on Thursday, September 28, at 8 p.m. Community members are welcome to come and show their school spirit. On Friday, September 29, at 3 p.m., the homecoming parade will take place on Wabash in front of Family Market. The West Elk Booster Club will begin serving its annual Tailgate Supper at 5:30 p.m. At 7 p.m., the West Elk Patriot football team will host the Mustangs of Flinthills.
