Tornado Basketball Suffered Loss To Top-Rated Independent
The Eureka High School boys closed the 2023 portion of their schedule with a 21-75 loss to the top-rated team in 2A, Wichita Independent in Wichita. Lady Tornado Basketball Fell To Wichita Independent Panthers
On Tuesday, Dec. 19, the Eureka Lady Tornadoes traveled to Wichita, where they competed against the Independent Panthers. The Panthers are highly respected and talented, as they have held a state ranking in class 2A throughout the season. A rocky first half of play led to a strong second half, in which the Tornadoes battled hard and had a major comeback. While the final 16 minutes were quite momentous, Eureka still fell short, receiving their third loss of the season.

According to the Self-Storage Almanac, there are an estimated 51,206 storage facilities operating in the United States today, and MJ Partners Self-Storage Update says 11.1 percent of households currently rent at self-storage facilities. IBISWorld indicates the Canadian self-storage industry has grown at an average annual rate of 3.1 percent over the last five years.

GREENWOOD COUNTY DEEDS
Editor’s Note: Due to the court access portal not being able to be reached, court records were unable to be gathered. Herald staff plans to resume gathering Greenwood County court news (Civil Court, Criminal Court, Domestic Relations, Fish and Game, Limited Civil, Marriage License Applications, Probate Court, Small Claims, State Tax, Statutory Liens and Traffic Tickets) weekly once the system becomes available and with the announcement last week, we believe that will begin in January. Those wishing for more information can visit www.kscourts.org.
