Presented With 50-Year Continuous Membership Award
Junior Rice, Jim Lawrence and Glen Gibson were each presented with a VFW Continuous Membership Award in recognition of 50 years continuous membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. The awards were presented by Don Scott, VFW Post 2712 Commander, on Tuesday, April 9.

Elk County Commission
Chairman Jake Liebau called the regular meeting of the Elk County Commission on March 25 to order at 1 p.m. Commissioners Doug Hendricks and Perry Russell were all present as well as County Clerk Kerry Harrod and County Counselor Paul Dean. April Events Coming To Hamilton City Library
The Hamilton City Library invites the public to join their book club. This is the first year, other than last year’s book reading and discussion of “Killers of the Flower Moon,” that the Hamilton City Library patrons have read books for one month and discussed the books on the first Saturday of the month at 9 a.m. Those wishing to join are asked to let the library know and participate with the group.
