Rockin’ Robin!
$29 I am simply amazed, honored and humbled that The Eureka Herald was named the Frank and Mamie Boyd Community Service Award recipient at the KPA Awards of Excellence event, last Friday. This is the first special award for The Eureka Herald and the Clasen family. This award wouldn’t have been possible without the support of my family, hardworking staff, fellow volunteers and our amazing community. As a third generation journalist, I must also note that this award also goes to my grandfather and father as they were the ones who paved the way and showed me first hand what it looked like to serve their communities. They were great role models for me. If only I had known that I would have followed in their footsteps, I would have paid more attention.

It isn’t a pleasant experience. Businesses are forced to pass along the added expenses to their consumers or face closure.
