Just like that, summer fun is wrapping up as students (and faculty/ staff) are returning to the classrooms for the 2024-25 school year. Area schools began last week, with Eureka USD 389 starting the new adventure this Thursday. With the rise of inflation, small businesses, including this one, have also had to make changes. Cutting back on services and decreasing expenses simply isn’t enough; however, we are slow to put it on our customers as we know the impact they are feeling. But, sometimes the rates have to be raised. Unfortunately, we at The Herald are losing readers due to inflation.
