Monday, October 9 proved to be a difficult day at the golf course in Girard as high school golfers merged on to the course for Regional action. The weather may have been perfect, but pin placements were not. With the placements being difficult, scores came in high before the turn. Junior High Tornado Football Fell To Cherryvale At Final Home Game

The Eureka Junior High Tornado football team finished their home schedule with an 8-46 loss to the Cherryvale Chargers. The Tornadoes went into the game knowing this would be a major challenge as Cherryvale was undefeated and had an average margin of victory over their opponents of over 40 points.
