Four Lady Tornado wrestlers traveled to Chase County last Thursday for the Bulldog Women’s Jamboree. The Ladies combined for a record of 7-3 for the day with two going undefeated. Both Harlie Owings (190) and Makyla Gore (235) went undefeated in their brackets to claim top honors. The Eureka High School boys basketball team opened their season last Friday night with a 17-67 loss to the Independence Bulldogs. Playing the 4A Bulldogs, on opening night on the road, was a challenge the young Tornadoes were unable to meet.
