Toronto News

First thing’s first. Last week I incorrectly told about the upcoming Toronto Booster Club breakfast this weekend. It will be Sunday from 8-10 a.m. at the Toronto Senior Center. Breakfast will consist of biscuits and gravy, with fried eggs. There is a fee with all proceeds going towards the 150th birthday celebration of Toronto during Toronto Days 2019. Breakfast will be served with coffee or hot chocolate.

Crazy roller coaster weather in November. Record highs one day, record lows a couple days later. Outside Saturday in shorts, curled up under a blanket Sunday. Didn’t help that the electricity kept flickering off. The cold, fierce wind blowing like crazy, I swear when it blew really hard you could feel it in the house.

Snow. Don’t forget the snow. It was snowing really hard for awhile. Little flakes, but it was really coming down. Enough to make for dangerous driving. Saw online where there was a wreck over by Moline and several wrecks on I-35 between Wichita and Emporia. Slow down and drive defensively when the roads are snow packed.
