Seven Tornadoes Placed At Tri-Valley League Tournament

With 3-2-1A Regionals less than a week away, members of the Eureka Tornadoes wrestling team have set their sights on finishing in the top four of their weight divisions to advance to the state tournament. On Wednesday, February 6, the Eureka Tornadoes were ranked 6th in the state by the Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association. The rankings showed Kendall Beitz, 106 and Kolby Beitz, 113, being favored to win state honors this year.
 
Eureka will host 3-2-1A Regional action this Friday and Saturday, February 16 and 17 with the following participating: Burden-Central, Caney, Canton- Galva, Cherokee-Southeast, Cherryvale, Cottonwood Falls-Chase County, Dexter, Douglass, Erie, Eureka, Fredonia, Halstead, Hesston, Hillsboro, Howard-West Elk, Humboldt, Leon-Bluestem, Marion, Mound City-Jayhawk Linn, Moundridge, Pleasanton, Rosalia-Flinthills, Uniontown, Wellsville, and Whitewater-Remington.
