To Play Basketball For Hesston College

Eureka Tornado senior Haydon Mead officially signed a letter of intent on Sunday, January 10, to play basketball for the Hesston College Larks next fall.
The competitive spirit started in Mead at an early age, as Mead was involved in basketball, wrestling, football and baseball. But over the years, his love for basketball surpassed the others. When he began playing on competitive teams, around sixth grade, the dream of playing basketball at the collegiate level formed. “It all started as a dream, but once I got into high school I knew that is exactly what I wanted to do,” he stated.
