Eureka Recreation Commission Plans For Fall Sports
With the Eureka Recreation Commission equipment shed being among the path of the June 26 tornado, the future of Eureka recreational seasons may appear to be in limbo.
The Eureka Recreation board met last Friday to discuss the future, which will not show a delay in fall sports seasons. Eureka Recreation Director Scott Miller shared with the board that he has met with the adjuster and the commission has $23,000 in coverage. He also noted that all uniforms, helmets and shoulder pads would have to be replaced due to safety precautions.
