Preventing Illness From Eating Hard-Boiled Eggs
The perfect hard-boiled egg is essential to many family and friend gatherings. One of the main uses is in an old reliable appetizer: deviled eggs. Cooking those eggs properly is the key to preventing foodborne illness. An undercooked hardboiled egg can leave the yolk and possibly the white runny. As a result, any possible Salmonella bacteria can survive.
Rockin’ Robin!
From time to time, I have people ask how I keep things straight. The truth.... I don’t. I fail often, almost daily. But, I try to remember the phrase “Fake it till you make it” and simply forge ahead in hopes no one notices. (I promise my family, close friends and staff get a front row seat during the failures. I assure you, these moments aren’t pretty and they deserve praise for sticking it out). Just last week, I shared with a friend that there are times I feel like a fraud. Throughout this job I have learned primarily by trial and error. Whether it be writing, marketing, photography, leadership, etc., I’ve done what works and often learn a “trick” because of networking.
