Kimberly Kaye Bulk, 59, of Riley, died Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at her residence. She was born on October 18, 1958 in Manhattan, the daughter of Kermit O’Dell and Edna May (Wurzburger) Peterson. She graduated from Riley County High School in 1976. On April 2, 1977, she was united in marriage to Vern R. Bulk at the First Lutheran Church in Manhattan. She was a Public Service Administrator for KSU Housing and Dining Services for over 30 years. Following her retirement, she worked for the last few years as a Customer Representative for Riley County Public Works. She was a member of the Walsburg Lutheran Church, Silver Creek Beneficiary Club and Prairie Star Quilt Guild. She is survived by her husband, Vern of the home; one daughter, Lindsay Shorter of Beaumont; her mother, Edna Peterson of Manhattan; and one sister, Rhonda Lund of Manhattan. She was preceded in death by her father, Kermit Peterson. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 31, at the Walsburg Lutheran Church with Reverend Keith Wiens officiating. A memorial has been established for the Walsburg Lutheran Church and may be left in care of the Anderes- Pfeifley Funeral Home. Condolences may be left for the family at
