Jeromie Lee Mitchell, 46, of Eureka, died Monday, March 9, 2020, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

He was born December 4, 1973, in Eureka, the son of Derald Dean and Terri Lyn (Curnutt) Mitchell. He was raised in Eureka and attended local schools, earning his GED. Following his schooling, he worked for Banks Construction in El Dorado, before going to work at Eureka Pizza Hut as a cook and delivery man. He continued his job at Pizza Hut, until his health deteriorated.

He is survived by his parents; five children: Tiann Mitchell, Tavia Mitchell, Jaron Mitchell, Paxton Mitchell and Payton Mitchell all of Eureka; one granddaughter; and one brother: Brian Mitchell of Eureka.

He was preceded in death by an infant granddaughter and one brother, Travis Mitchell.

Graveside services were Monday, March 16, at Greenwood Cemetery in Eureka, with Pastor Kevin Lawrence of the Climax United Methodist Church officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that memorial donations be made to the Jeromie Mitchell Funeral Fund. Contributions can be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home, P.O.
