Jeffrey $89 Alan “Jeff” French, 64, of Wichita, formerly of Ness City, died on Tuesday, 16-3 July 14, 2020, at Comfort Care in Wichita.

He was born August 3 in El Dorado, the son of Marvin Lee and Josephine Marie French. He attended school in Great Bend, Ness 5 City, and at Wichita State University.

He spent his earlier years as an auto mechanic for several dealerships and also many years working in the oilfields in Western Kansas before moving to Wichita. He obtained his pilot license. He later served as a Life Watch pilot. He also worked at Spirit AeroSystems where he worked as a maintenance mechanic until he retired.

He is survived by brothers Joseph French, Patrick French and Jonathan French and sister Leslie Lane.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at the Janesville Cemetery in Hamilton, on Saturday, July 25, at 11 a.m. Masks should be worn, and social distancing observed. A celebration page can be found at koup
