Bert Phillips, 84, died on July 8, 2020 in her home in Phoenix, AZ. She was the wife of Keulan R. Phillips. They shared 66 married years together.

Born Alberta Mauer in Gridley, KS, to Christena and Adam Mauer, she graduated from Gridley High School in 1953. She moved with her husband and made homes for her family in many parts of the country but always came back to KS, living her retirement years in Eureka prior to moving to Phoenix in 2017 to be close to family.

Bert and Keulan remain members of Jefferson Street Baptist Church in Eureka. Bert loved books, old movies, antiques and spending time with her immediate and extended family. She was known for her cooking, her fun personality, and her volunteer work with church and the Eureka Public Library.

She is survived by her husband Keulan, living in Phoenix, AZ, her daughters; Christie (Jeff) Enzinna of Richmond, TX; Connie (Randy) Phillips-Eary of Peoria, AZ; and Terrie (Janice) Phillips of Glendale, AZ; and her grandchildren, Ashton Elizabeth Enzinna (Livingston, TX), Jacob Eary and Drew Eary, both living in the Phoenix, AZ metro area.

A memorial service will be scheduled in the future. Memorial donations may be made to Eureka Public Library through mail at 606 N Main, Eureka, KS, 67045.
