Former Eurekan Inducted To ESU Cross Country Hall Of Fame
Emporia State University celebrated a legendary tradition in cross country on Sunday, August 26, with an Alumni Run, course dedication and Hall of Fame luncheon on Sunday. The Hornets’ five national championships in men’s cross country are the most national titles in a team sport by a Kansas four year school in one sport.
The inaugural class of inductees was made up of nine men and two women that earned multiple All-American honors. As a group, they earned 28 All-American honors and won six individual national championships in cross country.
