For many youth in the area, summer baseball and softball seasons came to a close at the end of June.

The Greenwood County 4-H Archery program recently hosted a state qualifying archery match. Over 30 shooters from all across the state came to participate in the match.

Eureka’s Junior Golf team finished their 2019 season with tournaments at Sedan and Eureka last week.

To start the week, Eureka junior golfers traveled to Sedan.

Matthew Caleb Barg of Climax, died on July 3, 2019 in a car accident on US-400 near Leon, at the age of 19.
