2024 Kansas Firefighter Recruitment And Safety Grants Awarded To Eureka Fire Department

Eureka Fire Department was one of 78 departments in Kansas that were awarded funding through the Kansas Firefighter Recruitment and Safety Grant (KSFRSG) Program administered by the Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM). Eureka Fire Department was awarded $6,226 to be used for the purchase of personal protective equipment.

FBFS Holding Food Drive

Farm Bureau Financial Services (FBFS) of Eureka is currently holding a food drive to benefit a local food pantry in mid-December. The local FBFS office is competing with other FBFS locations out of El Dorado and Wichita.

Isn’t this rain awesome? To say it was desperately needed is an under statement. I noticed when traveling last week that some ponds are starting to refill! That’s a good sight to see. As is all the water puddles still standing.
