What’s The Hold Up?

Residents within the community have been asking for months why work hasn’t begun at Eureka USD 389 after the June 26 tornado. The answer: the plan hasn’t been approved. The district is hoping to make the facilities better for the future and is seeking a $7.5 million bond. Voters in the Eureka USD 389 will be able to vote for or against this bond on January 30, 2019, during a special election.

Many questions have been asked as the USD 389 Board of Education works toward this goal and The Eureka Herald is hoping the following questions/answers can help our readers better understand the process.
