Kids of all ages slid into the new year as a layer of ice/snow blanketed the area last Friday, January 1. Parts of Greenwood County received approximately 2 inches of snow Friday morning. Children and adults both took advantage and built snowmen, made snow angels, had snow ball fights, etc.
