Portion Of RWD2 In Boil Water Advisory

Heavy rain and flooding caused an inconvenience to many as more than 20 roads/ bridges were closed last week due to flooding. But the high waters caused more of a nuisance to a portion of customers in Greenwood County’s Rural Water District 2.

Residents along H Road, between 260th and 142nd Streets, lost water when the flooded west branch of Fall River took out part of the river bank as well as a PVC line that delivered water to their tower.
