Meet Greenwood County's Newest Deputy

Being in law enforcement is something Deputy Jacob Mullen has always wanted to do. When he saw an opening in Greenwood County for a deputy, it fit right into his ambitions.

Deputy Mullen has Kansas roots, growing up in the Salina area. He started his law enforcement career about a year ago as a jailer in McPherson County.

About four months later, he had the opportunity to attend the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center in Hutchinson, graduating in June. After being employed as a road deputy in Kiowa County for a short time, he made the move to Greenwood County.
