Local Businesses Broken Into Last Week

Three Eureka businesses were subject to break-ins last week, with one of the three being burglarized.

Eureka Pharmacy was burglarized last Wednesday evening, at approximately 11:15 p.m. According to the Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office, forced entry was made into the building and pharmaceutical items were taken. The suspects were gone by the time owner, Dick Roberts, arrived at the pharmacy just five minutes after the alarm was triggered.

The next morning, Shelter Insurance agent Stephen Coulter arrived at his office, located at 822 E. River, to file a claim around 7 a.m., and noticed that the front doors had been forcibly opened. The building also houses The Eureka Herald.
