Greenwood County Health Department Received Approval For New Vaccine Refrigerator

Removal Of Hospital Sales Tax Included In discussion; CEO Offers Clarification

Health Department Director Vicki Lindsey-Ross sought approval from Greenwood County Commissioners regarding the purchase of a new vaccine refrigerator, during their weekly commission meeting on Monday of this week. Lindsey-Ross stated that the State of Kansas approved a $2,500 reimbursement for the purchase of the $10,000.90 vaccine refrigerator. Commissioners approved the purchase. A portion of the COVID-19 funding received by the department will be allocated towards the purchase. The refrigerator currently being utilized will be moved to the hospital to provide onsite vaccination storage.
