Eureka High School Winter Royalty To Be Crowned This Friday

This Friday evening, the 2021 Eureka Junior Senior High School Winter Royalty will be crowned during the halftime of the boys’ basketball game against the Fredonia Yellowjackets. Students in grades nine through twelve recently selected the following senior students as the 2021 Winter Royalty Court, for Queen: Aa-Leionna Cox, Madison Morris, Macy Frakes, Ta’Janae Green and Katie Sherman; for King: Benjamin Sunderland, Connor Booth-Hughes, Austin Casper, Preston Coulter and Trey McCoy.

Students at EJSHS will participate in a “spirit week.” On Monday, January 25, students were encouraged to wear flannel for “Lumberjack Monday.” Tuesday, January 26 was “Hibernation Day,” students are encouraged to wear pajamas. “Super Bowl Wednesday” will be held on Wednesday, January 27, with students encouraged to wear their favorite team gear or colors. Thursday, January 28 will be “SWINTER” and students are encouraged wear half winter and half summer clothing. To conclude the week, students are encouraged to participate in the “Winter Storm Warning” or spirit day and wear Red, White and Blue.
