Eureka High School Homecoming Royalty To Be Crowned This Friday Evening
This Friday evening, the 2020 Eureka Junior Senior High School Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned in a special ceremony, at 8 p.m. at McGinnis Field.
Due to COVID-19, the annual assembly will not be held. Plans were for the special ceremony to take place during halftime of the Eureka vs. Wellsville football game, however, due to the Eagles football team being quarantined, the game has been delayed. Eureka (4-0) will face Wellsville (0-3) on Tuesday, October 6, at 7 p.m., at McGinnis Field. With this change, a Eureka Recreation Commission tackle football game will be held at 6:30 p.m., this Friday night.
Homecoming candidates will be announced, with the King and Queen being crowned shortly after. Students in grades nine through twelve recently selected the following students as the 2020 Homecoming Court, for Queen: Brooke Gulick, Kynzie Huddleston, Amanda Mouer, Chanzi Ptacek and Ava Perrier; for King, Brent Escareno, Brennan Lowe, Haydon Mead, Gabriel Valentine and Braden Rucker.
