EHS Fall Homecoming Royalty Crowned
During a special assembly last Friday afternoon, seniors Justin Zimmers, son of Jeff and Kristi Zimmers of Reece, and Keeley Coon, daughter of Heath and Cindy Coon of Eureka, were named as the 2019 Eureka High School Homecoming King and Queen.
The other candidates, all seniors, included: for King Quade Scott, Zach Hare, Quinton Phelan and Terik Crisswell; and for Queen, Erin Wood, Emilee Escareno, Bailey Harrison and Naomi Lance.
The crown bearers were Noah Everly-Burtin and Molly Dehlinger, both first graders at Marshall Elementary School, in Eureka.
During the assembly, the band, directed by Mr. Knapp played “Over the Rainbow” arranged by Michael Story and the EHS Pop Chorale sang “Waitin’ for the Light to Shine,” arranged by Mark Brymer.
Parade Grand Marshals Dick and Tess Rucker, the EHS Class of 1970 along with the Classes of 2019 and 2020, were recognized.
