The Eureka businesswomen met on Tuesday, December 5, at the Greenwood County Hospital basement meeting room. There were 7 members, and no guests present. Roll call was answered by, “What are you doing for Christmas?”

Greenwood County Hospital Auxiliary met for their monthly meeting on December 4 at the Greenwood County Hospital (GWCH) basement for their annual Christmas dinner served by the GWCH kitchen staff. Roll call was taken with 12 members present.

Special Church Events Planned For Christmas
Area churches have planned events to observe the celebration of the birth of Christ this holiday season. The public is invited to attend the church or churches of their choice and hear the Christmas story as it is related through scripture. All are welcome to attend services. Those attending do not have to be a member of any of the churches.

Annual Eureka Christmas Wellspring Event To Be This Sunday, December 17
This Sunday, December 17, community members will begin gathering at 1 p.m. at Marshall Elementary School in Eureka for packing and delivery of the eighth annual Eureka Christmas Wellspring project. Everyone is welcome to join in by helping pack food boxes or deliver to the families.
