Housing development, blight removal, community events, improvements to city facilities, and efforts to increase public access to city government were among the key topics discussed during the Eureka City Council’s regular meeting Monday, Sept. 28.
The council also approved equipment that will allow future city council meetings to be broadcast for residents who cannot attend in person, following requests from community members who expressed a desire to be able to watch meetings remotely and stay informed about city business.
