West Elk alumni and community members gathered in historic downtown Howard for a weekend of festivities. The celebration began with the West Elk vs. Udall homecoming game, where members of the Class of 1981 were honored at halftime.
Saturday’s schedule began with breakfast served by the Elk Co Wrestling Club and the Cancer Walk. Vendors filled the Elk County Cour t h o u se lawn throughout the day, while the car show drew more than 15 vehicles. The Howard City Library and Friends of the Library also set up a bounce house beside Wabash St.
