The Howard Chamber of Commerce met Sept. 23 with members discussing upcoming community events, ways to promote Howard, Christmas in Howard plans and several new community development ideas. Brandi Mast called the meeting to order. Minutes from the previous meeting had been distributed by email and were approved following a motion by John Black and a second by Sarah Evans. Julie Perkins presented the treasurer’s report, which was approved following a motion by Deb Roebuck and a second by Marcia Trump.
