The monthly meeting of the Fancy Mustangs 4-H Club was called to order on Sept. 2, at 6:41 p.m. by Vice President Brayden Greenwood at the Neal Community Building. Roll call was “What is a project you would like to try this year?” Unfortunately, due to sports, no quorum was present.
During the president’s report, Brayden Greenwood reminded the club that officer applications, record books, and pin applications are all due to a leader on September 27.
Following the treasurer’s report by Brody Greenwood and the reporter’s report by Charlie Lindamood, Sydney Lindamood reminded all high school students to consider applying to be an ambassador during the council report. There were lots of reminders from the leaders about upcoming events during standing committee reports.
The Greenwood family talked about 48 hours of 4-H: the club will attend church at the Neal evangelical church, clean the community building, have lunch and the club meeting on Sunday, Oct. 11. The Lindamood family presented the wreath fundraiser.
There was no new or old business due to lack of quorum.
Brody Greenwood did a project talk about making his wool and leather jacket.
