The Eureka Friendship Meals program is currently raising funds through the “Adopt A Cause - Win A Car” program.
Tickets will be available through Dec. 1, with a chance to win a new truck or SUV. One hundred percent of the proceeds of the ticket sales will benefit the group selling the tickets.
A drawing for five finalists will be held on Dec. 2, at 11 a.m. at Rusty Eck Ford. The five finalists will receive a key on Dec. 9, at 11 a.m.

The Eureka Friendship Meal program, which provides nutritious, affordable lunches to local residents, serves meals Monday-Friday at noon at 209 N. Oak St., in Eureka. Frozen meals are also available for the weekend to ensure seniors continue to have access to balanced nutrition beyond weekdays.
The suggested contribution is $4 per meal for individuals age 60 and older and $7.08 for those under 60. However, donations from the community help keep the program strong and ensure no one is turned away due to inability to contribute.
Those wishing to pay for meals or make a donation by check should make checks payable to SCKAAA Nutrition and send in care of the Eureka Senior Center, 209 N. Oak St., Eureka, KS 67045.
