The Eureka Junior High volleyball and football teams hosted Bluestem last Thursday, Sept. 3, to begin their 2026 season.
Eureka’s volleyball team went 1-2, with the C-team Ladies claiming the match in three sets, 27-25, 20-25, 15-11.
The A-team Ladies fell to the Lions, 17-25, 9-25.
Eureka’s B-team lost to Bluestem, 13-25, 1625.
The Junior High Tornado football team lost their season opener to the Lions, 6-20.
Eureka Junior High volleyball and football will travel to Caney this Thursday, Sept. 10. Volleyball action is slated for 4:30 p.m. Kick-off for football is scheduled for 6 p.m.
